The day has finally arrived. As a restaurant, the Quiet Storm can no longer permit smoking anywhere on the premises. We ask patrons to smoke outside on Graham Street near the ashcan, rather than near or around our Penn Avenue entrances. (In fact, smoking is not permitted within five feet of the doors.)
Will this affect business? I guess we’ll see. Certainly, we can hope to welcome those who’ve stayed away because of secondhand smoke. And perhaps the ban will influence our smoking staff members and loyal patrons to kick the habit!
So long as they don’t kick the coffee habit.

A couple months ago, I visited with my dad, and the ban was enforced. You have a great restaurant! I can’t wait to come again.

We are looking forward to our first visit to your place. Have friends in PGH and eager to dine with yah — smoke free is a BONUS as far as I’m concerned. Don’t get the people who are worried enough about their health to eat good food but still smoke. Ah well .. more for us I guess!! See yah soon!

I had no idea until today that QS is non-smoking now. This is great news!!! I had been staying away reluctantly because I really like the food and atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back!
